beautiful scenic trails set in Tahoe Mountains, this is a great place to anchor up or find some rocks to jump off. This park is also great for its lengthy hiking trails overlooking the turquoise waters of Lake Tahoe. Some popular areas along the water include Lester Beach or Calawee Cove where guests can paddle board and kayak. Some popular hiking trails include the Rubicon Trail, Lighthouse Trail, and Balancing Rock Trail.The park got its name from the D.L. Bliss family which were pioneers in the lumber industry, they also owned several railroads and banks. In 1929 the D.L. Bliss family donated the 744 acres to the California State Park System. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this park so leave your furry friends at home.
